PROJECT SCOPE – While the scope of this project was fairly straightforward and included minor demolition, framing and sheetrock, new casework, flooring, and a fresh coat of paint, there were a few challenges presented to the RYSE team. One being that a major portion of this project existed in or around common areas and highly utilized corridors. This presented multiple challenges with ensuring infection prevention all while keeping the facility operating as normal. The work done in the corridors and common areas was completed during overnight hours, weekends, and even holidays to reduce inconvenience for staff as well as for patients. Coordination and communication with the facility administration, staff, and our sub-partners were major keys to our success in pulling off this logistically challenging project.
